Warriors is a book about four clans that live together in the woods. These are not just ordinary cats though. They are wild, and free. The go and come back as much as they please and dont take no for an answer. They eat prey from the forest and have each other's backs. These clans are made up of 8 positions; Leader, Deputy, Medicene Cat,Warrior, Apprentice, Queen, Elder, and Kit. Leader controls the clan. Deputy is second-in-command. Medicene Cat heals the wounded. Warriors fight and hunt for the clan. Apprentices are learning to become Warriors. Queens are she-cats nursing or expecting kits. Elders are old, retired Warriors. And Kits are baby cats, or kittens. These cats live together, share prey together, and keep each other safe. These books are also violent and scary at times, but are beautiful in the end, and always keep you thinking!!!

There are 2 series so far. The Old Prophecy, which is books 1-6, and The New Prophecy, which is books 7-12. The names are Into The Wild, Fire and Ice, Forest of Secrets, Rising Storm, Dangerous Path, Darkest Hour, Midnight, Moonrise, Dawn, Starlight, Twilight, and Sunset. There are new books coming out, and the newest is called something like Power of Three yada yada yada. These books are so cute, and makes you think of what your friendly house cat would be if it wasn't that way...
